President's Office
The President's Office consists of the President, the Chancellor and the three Vice-Presidents. The President is responsible for managing the university and representing it in public. In addition to the elected members, the Equal Opportunities Officer, the Head of the Communications and Marketing Unit and the head of the office of the president are represented on the President's Office as permanent guests. The board meets once a week. The extended board, which includes the deans of the departments, meets once a month.
The President's Office manages the university. In carrying out this task, it is responsible for all matters and decisions of the university for which no other responsibility is expressly defined in the NRW Higher Education Act.
Presidential Commissioners
The university's presidential commissioners help to maintain the infrastructure and ensure that legal guidelines and self-determined standards are enforced and adhered to.
